There were no grandchildren around for me to take pictures of today so this handsome fellow agreed to let me use him as my subject. This is Lloyd, the center of my life for almost 40 years now. I want to play around with the color picture and take all the color out except for the blue of his eyes. I was practicing with my new 50 mm lens, and with the b&w feature of my camera.

Don't you just love the 50 mm! Great shot of your hubby. I really like the color version...there's a nice warm tone to it.
