Charlie tried to do a sit down bounce.
I love the way the girls' hair floats in the air.
I don't know what Max was trying to do here - maybe a frog leap? - but it looks like fun.
Syd is quickly learning to bounce like the older ones.
She can land on her knees and bounce right up again.
Max just likes to jump as high as he can.

Aidan and Elly decided they needed their turns too so Amy helped them.
Elly liked it for a few jumps but Aidan wasn't as thrilled.
He liked sitting on the trampoline while Charlie jumped and made him bounce.
Have you ever realized how difficult it is to get a picture of three kids in the air at the same time??? I never did master it.

Amy organized a game of 'break the egg'. Max was the first egg to break. Looked like a fun game.
This cute little guy has nothing to do with the trampoline. He was sitting in the wheel well of Curtis' car when I pulled up beside it in the driveway. He's really beautiful - does anyone know what kind of bird he is? I'm thinking sparrow but I think he's too colorful for that.

The floating hair photos fascinate me.
I love the bird picture. Eddie said maybe some kind of finch?
I need to upload mine from today too. They were so good out there with eachother (except for Aidan who seemed a little uncomfortable with all the jumpers). I agree -- my bet is the bird's a finch but Anders would know for sure. Jenn will have to ask him. - Amy
Trampolines look like so much fun!!!!
Yes it does do a mothers heart good to see their child happy and in a healthy relationship!!!!
Awesome photos Pat! Your new camera is great! Don't think I've ever seen a bird like that around! He is very cute. Guess too early to be a baby?
Break the egg - classic. I'm sure that "tramp" will get lots of use. You'll have to put a sprinkler under it when it gets hot enough, but I'd hold off on the dish soap until they're older.
love the picture of amy with elly.
try the "sports" setting on your camera. it'll have a really fast shutter speed.
Hey Pat,
nice pictures! I only find sometimes enough time to visit your blog, but I'm enjoing it every time getting to know what's just happening in your life! =) I think your suggestion was right and the little cute bird is a house sparrow - sometimes they are as colourful as this little cutie was and some of them are less colourful, but the "painting-pattern" is the typical one for house sparrows. We have them here around too, but I couldnt catch one so close for a photo... Lots of love,
Kat
=)
Nice work Kat it is nice to have people close by who recognize the wild life.Greg
Yeah, I'm with Kat. (This is an introduced species from Europe so she should know!) It's a male house sparrow in breeding colours. Great photo.
