Quiet Weekend

I have had a very quiet weekend. I haven't been out of the house since Friday morning. I like to retreat occasionally and just do my own thing and since Lloyd is out of town, this long weekend was a good opportunity for that. I'll be ready to be out and about tomorrow.

I spent the weekend sorting through my pictures and trying to get some scrapbooking done. I ended up completing four pages - two singles and one double page layout. I'm not used to working with 8.5 x 11 inch pages so I found it a bit difficult. The 12 x 12 are much easier to work on. Anyway, here's what I ended up with....layouts from January in Arizon.

The title page for the album.

Double page layout about cactus.

Charlie and the orange trees. I scraplifted this layout from a scrapbooking website.

nice!
why are you doing 8.5x11?

I'm doing 8.5 x 11 because I found a lovely album that size at Scrapbooks Etc in Mesa and 'had' to use it for my Arizona pictures.

Love the cacti double page, that's my kind of scrapping.

What a wonderful job you did with the photos of Charlie and the oranges. The layout is cute too. I think i will have to go digi and start scrap stealing LO's online.

Sorry!! I didnt explain what a 4x4/5x5 picture tag is!! You are to go to your picture file and pick your forth (4x4) file and the forth pic in that file and tell about it. Clear as mud?

It was fun to do I just have had a double work load so I didnt get to it. Are you going to do the tag?
